No prior experience is necessary. All tools and materials for the mending will be provided. Please bring a broken ceramic vessel (must be glazed, no more than 4 fragments) to mend during the class. If you don't have a broken vessel, you can purchase one from the instructor for $5 at the event.
If the vessel you bring is determined that it is too challenging by the instructor (it will not be finished during the workshop), you will be asked to use a vessel prepared by the instructor.
If you would like to mend more vessels at home, you may purchase Miya's modern kintsugi kit for $55 (optional), only avialable for those who attend this modern kintsugi workshop. Please email miyasilversmith@gmail.com to reserve a kit, at least 3 days prior to the event.
