Overview

Go lead-free! Join experts to explore ballistics science & wildlife impacts. Bring your own eye/ear protection. See you there!

Ever wondered how your choice of ammo ripples through the ecosystem? Join us for a live shooting demonstration — focused on lead-free hunting ammunition — where we bridge the gap between high-performance ballistics and wildlife conservation.

The North American Lead-Free Partnership, along with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, will share insights and demonstrate the performance of lead-free and other modern hunting ammunition. We will be on hand to answer questions about terminal performance, the science behind reducing unintended lead ingestion by scavenging wildlife and opportunities for Utah hunters.

Whether you’re a hunter, outdoor enthusiast or simply interested in wildlife conservation, this demonstration is a great opportunity to learn more about how hunting ammunition choices can help protect wildlife and support healthy ecosystems.

Things to remember:

  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own eye and ear protection.
  • This event will be held outdoors at a public shooting range with no facilities
