Jonjo Elliott, a versatile mixed-media artist hailing from Leicestershire, England, presents a captivating collection featuring intricate interiors, portraits, landscapes, and still life. His artwork effortlessly blends a loose graphic style with abstract elements, drawing inspiration from personal dreams and memories. Art historical references and names such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Georgia O’Keeffe mingle with those of icon fashion houses like Gucci, Versace, Balenciaga, and Dolce & Gabbana. Each piece creates a vibrant yet fantastical scene, exploring the dynamic interplay between abstraction and representation.

Thriving in environments awash with color and pattern, Elliott's focus on the crossover between abstraction and representation is evident in every piece. Constantly pushing the boundaries of expression through painting, he invites viewers on a journey of exploration.

A self-proclaimed "glass half full" individual, Elliott infuses joy into his paintings, filling them with exciting colors that illuminate the world around him. From early sketching to mastering screen printing, graphic design, and photography, his artistic journey culminated in a first-class BA honors degree in fine art from De Montfort University. Establishing his studio in Leicestershire, his easily recognizable style now centers on the vibrancy, color, and beauty of our world, offering an escape for those who engage with his work.

Reflecting on his art, Elliott shares, "I have a knack for being happy most of the time, and I want to share this with people who see my work. I want the works to offer an escape; somewhere viewers can lose themselves for a while amongst the colors."

Moving across continents to Switzerland, Marco Pittori, born in 1978, emerges as a distinctive artist influenced by the mesmerizing images of Brad Elterman and the mythic culture of 1970s Hollywood. Trained at the School of Design in Aarau, Switzerland, Pittori showcases vibrant artworks that pay homage to the captivating scenes of Los Angeles' Sunset Strip.

Using licensed images from Brad Elterman's iconic photographs, Pittori provides viewers with a unique window into the alluring and exclusive era of 1970s Hollywood. Elterman's photographs reveal a life far from ordinary, capturing moments with iconic figures in the rock and roll scene. Pittori, inspired by Elterman, states, "Brad’s photos provide a rare, often raunchy glimpse into a rock and roll history where it seems Brad is always at the right place at the right time, camera ready.”

Some of Pittori’s multi-layered photographs are based on Elterman’s iconic images, such as "Behind the Beverly Hills Hotel, 1977." Pittori meticulously layers the imagery to unveil a whole new reality. His artworks have been exhibited and collected worldwide, contributing to the rich tapestry of contemporary art.
