MEET THE ARTISTS:

Meet Amanda Koss, a Dearborn-based abstract expressionist and curator renowned for her innovative artwork. With a graphic design background, Amanda infuses creativity and precision into her multi-award-winning pieces, utilizing layers, textures, robot vacuum's as paint brushes and found objects.

Having curated prestigious spaces like Crain Communications and Amazon's corporate office, Amanda has crafted large-scale commissioned collections for offices in Detroit and Chicago. Her avant-garde approach and fusion of contemporary and abstract elements make her work a perfect fit for every atmosphere!

Kathy Kosins is an interdisciplinary artist and a master of improvisation. Her art quite literally translates from stage to canvas. She may be best known for her successful career as a worldwide critically acclaimed jazz and soul artist, yet all the while Kosins has been quietly gaining ground in the modern art world as well.

Self-taught as musician, composer and visual artist, Kosins creates abstract acrylic paintings on canvas. A mid-century modern aesthetic has long inspired her work. Cubist and surrealist artists of the 1950s and 1960s inform her technique. She believes in creating art when the moment strikes. That is exactly how she began painting from a live music stage. Kosins’ commissioned paintings are held in private collections thought out the US and Europe.
