You Are Collective is a women-owned company that exists to gather and encourage women to be mindful of their mental health. Our purpose is to create ongoing events that transform and empower our community locally and nationwide by bringing awareness of mental health through the art of lettering, community, and the power of words.

This beginner workshop will teach you the basics of modern, pointed pen calligraphy. We will go over the fundementals of calligraphy, including the basic tools and supplies, learning how to hold the pen correctly, and the basic strokes that will form your uppercase and lowercase letters. We will also go over how to connect letters together to form words.By the end of class, you will have learned the foundation and skills you need to continue practicing pointed pen calligrpahy at home!What included:<ul><li>1 Straight Pen Holder</li><li>2 Nibs (Nikko G + Brause Steno)</li><li>Jar of Black Ink</li><li>Workbook with Alphabet + Number Guides</li></ul> IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BELOW:This workshop will take place during our Speak Life Conference. The cost of this workshop includes partial* entry to the conference and you will be able to access event at 2:15 PM for check in.WE ARE SOLD OUT of all day and only accepting creative workshop entries.
