About this event

We all have the potential to access happiness. Yet too many of us feel stressed and unhappy.

No matter how much we manipulate external conditions like jobs, relationships, or possessions to find happiness, they can’t ever make us happy unless our mind is peaceful.

Only by improving our inner peace through meditation and positive thinking can we truly enjoy the world around us.

Gen Choma will show how ancient Buddhist wisdom can help us make happiness and joy a habit we can count on. She will help us cultivate positive mental habits to reduce negative ones like frustration, discontentment and jealousy.

This experiential meditation series with Gen Choma will include an introductory settling meditation, Buddhist teachings on wisdom and compassion to solve our modern problems, along with 2-3 meditations and time for discussion.

Transform bad habits into good ones with the engaging community at The Center SF and turn your ordinary modern world into an extraordinary adventure of peace, happiness and joy.

2 free class passes to meditation classes at KMC SF are included.

Gen Kelsang Choma is the most senior American nun within the New Kadampa Tradition of Modern Buddhism. A close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, she has studied and practiced extensively for 35 years, and is qualified to teach both Sutra and Tantra.

She is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center San Francisco and is invited often to teach nationally. People enjoy her teachings for their clarity and warmth
