Model Behavior

You've heard of a drink and draw? A paint and sip? Well throw out those preconceived ideas because MODEL BEHAVIOR takes art and libations to a whole new elevated level.

During this time frame attendees will complete an 8x10 painting of live models in a staged set. Except these are no ordinary models - they are drag and burlesque performers, in various degrees of costumed, nude, and made up. This will be a long form pose (the better part of 4 hours), with a brief gesture warmup beforehands. Also attendees will have the professional instruction and guidance of artist MaKenna Mullen to help complete their artworks.

Models for our inaugral Model Behavior will be Teehee the Clown and Ashley Magick.

In addition, there will be cocktails for purchase from local makers Red Eyed Spirits and small bites for purchase from The Lingerie Chef. Ticket comes with a complimentary glass of bubbly and you're also welcome to BYOB.

Schedule:

12 - 12:30pm : Arrival, setup, intros, wine toast

12:30 - 12:50pm : Gesture drawing warm-up

1 - 3pm : Long pose

*models will sit for 20-25 minute intervals with 5-10 minute breaks in between. Guests are welcome to grab drinks, snacks, use the bathroom, socialize during those breaks.

3 - 3:30pm : Extended social break

3:30 - 4:30pm : Resume long pose

4:30pm - 5pm : Final touches, breakdown, socializing, final toast!
