Mode Mechanical Keyboard Meetup 2024

Welcome to the Mode Meetup 2024! Join 250 people for a day at Garage B at The Speedway – a beautiful industrial indoor/outdoor warehouse space over 3,300 square feet, located along the Charles River.

This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow keyboard enthusiasts, mingle with the Mode Designs team, and explore the city of Boston at the perfect time of year.

Bring your keyboards to show off or just come to check out the amazing builds of others and learn about the wide variety of mechanical keyboard options out there. Get inspired by different keyboard layouts, test out unique switches, and see some extremely well-thought-out curated themed builds. People love to show off their most prized boards in their collection.

Each ticket comes with a collectible enamel-filled badge exclusive to the meetup that fits the Mode SixtyFive 2024, styled like the MBTA subway map to commemorate the event. Each entry also comes with a Mode T-shirt and we'll poll all attendees after the tickets have sold out for shirt sizes.

We'll have other vendor booths where you can make purchases, participate in typing contest leaderboards to race fellow keyboard enthusiasts, photo ops for you and your board, and raffles! Mode will have meetup-exclusive deals on keyboards and parts for sale, so you can leave with a keyboard of your own if you've had your eyes on one of our boards, including the all new Mode SixtyFive 2024.

The fantastic venue is right on the Charles River with ample food and drink options around in the adjacent Speedway Market. Don't miss out on this exciting event, whether you're a seasoned keyboard building veteran or just starting out!

Keyboard Policy

• Each attendee can bring up to 2x TKL sized keyboards. For example, you can bring 1x 100% boards, 2x TKL boards, 2x 65% boards, 3x 40% boards, etc.
• While not a strict rule, please be considerate so we can allow everyone to show off their board!
• Deskmats are allowed if you're comfortable sharing deskmat room with other attendee's keyboards.
• Please take note if boards are designated as "no touch/pickup".
• Please be aware of your own belongings/keyboards. Mode is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft.

Venue Policy

• Garage B is easily accessible via the 70 Bus to Waltham Center, or ride share drop off to 1420 Soldiers Field Road.
• There will be no food or drink allowed inside the venue. Available food must be eaten outside. Drinks with closed lids (e.g. water bottles) are allowed inside. Please keep hands clean if touching/handling keyboards.
• Weapons, drugs, and alcohol are prohibited.
• Your event wristband will be provided at check-in and must be worn at all times. Re-entry is allowed as long as you have your wristband.
• If you need an organizer during the event, find one of our crew members wearing a "MODE" badge.

Raffles

• Your Eventbrite digital ticket will double as an automatic entry for our raffles!
• Raffles will take place promptly at 2:00PM ET. You, or a representative for you, must be present to claim your prize or it will be re-rolled!

Ticket Info

• Tickets are $25 and provide admission to the meetup, a custom Mode SixtyFive Meetup Exclusive Badge, a T-Shirt*, and a tote bag.

*We'll aim to have a common distribution of sizes for shirts, but are first come first serve.
