May flowers are blooming at Mocha Mic with Millie as we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, recognizing the importance of destigmatizing mental health issues. Join us as we welcome four marvelous poets ready to share their artistry, each offering unique perspectives that shed light on the human experience

-R.Sen is a New Jersey based spoken word artist, writer, musician , singer, and poet who writes to guide her readers to find healing, strength, hope, and ultimately, self-love with her words.

-SJ is a Jersey City based published poet, poetry workshop facilitator and member of the Jersey City Writers poetry meetup who creates soundscapes in his work, incorporating various voices to make a more performative piece.

-Hailing from Newark, Positive Gunter transforms her life experiences into performance art, poetry, and wisdom as she redefines what it means to grow, through daily intention and planting seeds of consciousness in others.

-Matthew Marroquín currently resides in NJ and is a Salvadoran-American actor, author, and spoken word poet and author originally from the cornfields of Iowa, whose work delves into nuerodivergency, masculinity, and the first generation experience.
