About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Chinatown is home to some of the most special places in NYC, including countless small businesses like restaurants, sidewalk vendors, and specialty shops. Let’s celebrate our favorite small businesses by making our own! Design a storefront using cardboard, fabric, foam, and more. Got the juiciest mangos? The coolest clothes? The bounciest noodles? Tell your neighbors where to get them. Then add your shop to our collaborative Chinatown scene, and maybe learn about a new local favorite!

Paint, build, craft, and collage with us! Inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and local artists, MOCACREATE explores different themes every month. MOCACREATE workshops are designed with families in mind, but all are welcome!

FREE! RSVP optional, but appreciated.
