About this event
With the rapid development in mobile health programs, community health navigation and other health equity initiatives have been increasingly utilized in healthcare. Mobile health can provide substantially enhanced access to care and monitoring of health conditions, while community health navigation program enables more effective, individualized, just-in-time interventions for health promotion and disease prevention. We anticipate that the use of mobile health will become increasingly popular in public health in our Tri-County region and across South Carolina.
Through this symposium, we aim to bring together a community of mobile health providers and professionals. We especially would like to facilitate discussion between established mobile health programs and those who are newer to the field and are interested in incorporating mobile health programs in their access to care agenda.
By the end of the plenary, participants will be able to discuss the process and strategies for achieving successful mobile health programs and developing key partnerships.
