Leasing Agents are the face of apartment communities, connecting people with homes, supporting property teams, and driving leasing success. It’s a dynamic, rewarding, and high-growth career path that doesn’t require a college degree.
What is LTA?
In partnership with the Maryland Multihousing Association, the Leasing Training Academy (LTA) was designed to prepare Prince George’s County residents with the skills needed to succeed in the leasing and property management industry.
The Leasing Training Academy is a comprehensive 4-week, full-time training program designed to develop the skills you need to be successful in leasing. The 4-week training program will take place Monday through Thursday at Laurel Multiservice Center, 9- 4 pm. Not only does this program expose individuals to the basic practices of leasing, but it also offers specialized soft skills and professional development training to prepare individuals to transition into a professional environment.
What are the qualifications?
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Pass a background screening administered by our third-party screening partner
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle are strongly recommended but not required
