Join us for an in-depth, hands-on workshop focused on video projection for live performance, part of Miami Light Project’s Technical Fellowship Program. This workshop is designed for emerging Miami-based technicians interested in expanding their skills in technical theater and creative technology.
Led by Sean Sullivan—a creative technologist, projection mapping artist, and founder of Sean Was Here—this session will explore how to work with video projectors, configure basic setups, and harness projection as a powerful storytelling tool on stage. With a career spanning motion graphics, coding, and photography, Sean has been creating 3D projection installations since 2009 that have appeared in galleries, festivals, and events across the country.

About the Technical Fellowship Program:Miami Light Project’s Technical Fellowship Program is designed to develop the next generation of theater technicians in South Florida. Participants receive:
- Access to technical theater workshops in lighting, sound, projection, stage management, and more
- Entry to industry demos and networking opportunities
- 40 hours of job training and mentorship backstage at live events
- Paid internship opportunities for those who complete the training
- Ongoing support toward employment in the performing arts and events industries
