MLK DAY OF SERVICE

Youth & adult volunteers!! Join us for a meaningful day of service honoring the incredible legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at our One Village Alliance, Freedom Center. This in-person event is an opportunity to come together with our youth and beautify our new community safe haven in the heart of the city. Whether you're passionate about education, social justice, or community building, there's a volunteer opportunity for you! Together, we can continue Dr. King's vision of a more inclusive and equitable society. Mark your calendars and be part of this meaningful event! (Refreshments and lunch provided.)

Day of Service Projects

PICK YOUR START TIME: 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, OR NOON

1. PAINT: 4 CLASSROOMS; 2 ART STUDIOS
2. BUILD: OUTDOOR WELLNESS SPACE
3. ORGANIZE: GARAGE; CLOTHING CLOSET
4. OUTREACH: GIVEAWAY COATS, BLANKETS, OVA PROGRAM FLYERS
5. FREE HAIRCUTS: YOUTH & BARBERS
6. GAMING & MENTORING (XBOX, PS5, CHESS, CHECKERS)
