About this event

About Mixed Nuts:

Pistachio Groove is thrilled to present their first evening length work of new ideas in choreography, improvisation, and composition. “Mixed Nuts” explores tap dance within the context of live music. Each piece in the performance is rooted in a central groove or time step that informs a connection between the dancers and musicians. A collaborative musical exploration, the show brings these grooves to life through the works of multiple choreographers, a four piece band, and a variety of tap dance musicians.
