About the instructor, Amanda Gullatt Easter:

Amanda Gullatt Easter is a local ceramic artist from Elkin, NC. She studied studio art at Appalachian State University and received her BFA: with an emphasis in ceramics in 2017. Amanda has had a life long affair with art from the time she was very young as her father was crafty and loved art. A large chunk of her childhood included painting, knitting and jewelry making. She took this love for art and turned it into a career after college. She has been a vendor and taught classes at The November Room in Elkin for over 6 years. She was also a member of the Blue Ridge Artisan Guild during its tenure before is disbanding during 2020. Amanda lives with her husband and daughter in Elkin. She loves instilling creativity and a love of art not only in her own child but in other children as well through the art and craft for clay. She loves to have a good time in class and helping people to create unique and beautiful pieces that they will cherish forever. With a wide range of class projects there is something for everyone to enjoy. She also teaches private classes as well as private parties and events.
