Mixed Beginner Dance Class

This mixed beginner class is a welcoming, no-judgement space for anyone who is new to dance or returning after time away. It is built to feel accessible from the start, with a structure that helps you settle in quickly and build confidence as you go.

One of the reasons this class works so well for beginners is that choreography begins early in the session, including from the warm-up. That means you are not left watching for too long or overthinking what to do. Instead, you are gently supported into copying, moving and feeling comfortable in the room right away.

The class supports confidence, coordination, enjoyment and expression all at once. It is suitable for most fitness levels, and it is designed to help people who may not yet feel like dancers begin to trust their bodies, their memory and their ability to learn.

If you have never danced before, you can expect clear guidance, repetition, encouragement and a friendly pace. You do not need to arrive knowing the steps, knowing the counts or knowing what kind of dancer you are. You simply need to come willing to try.
