Is there a parking lot?

At this month's location, guests will use the park's parking lot, which is not far from the park shelter we have been permitted for the evening. Please mind the park's parking rules and signs.

Can I bring a friend?

Certainly, your friend can attend, but we do ask that everyone register. Ultimately, we hope that you will attend alone. We've learned it is easier to make friends and connect with others when we all attend solo.

What is the purpose of MIX?

These meet-ups are open to anyone who feels traditional networking opportunities don't work for them. If you are overwhelmed by these situations or have chosen a field unsupported by other groups in the area, MIX is for you.

Question 4

MIX always sells out, why not make it bigger so more people can attend?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is to keep the group small enough that everyone has a chance to get to know everyone during our meetup. If establishing authentic relationships is part of the jam (and it is!), keeping the group small renders the most reliable results. This time, we may allow for a few additional guests!
