Many spring birds are possible here, warblers, hummingbirds, flycatchers, gnatcatchers and more. Spring flowers should still be blooming.Trail Rating: Category 3, hot, dusty trail, 3+ milesElevation change: up to 400 feetLeader: Sandy Ritchie, (925) 381-2514Meet: Mitchell Canyon parking lotDirections: From Ygnacio Valley Road in Concord, turn south on Clayton Road. Turn right onto Mitchell Canyon Road and drive past quarry to end. A $6 parking fee is required.This field trip is limited to 15 participants.
