Description
This year’s event will bring together some of the today’s biggest luminaries to discuss how machine learning is shaping the future of industries and creating industries of the future.
Program
Over the course of the first two days (April 20th and 21st), more than 100 forward-thinking executives, leading technologists, respected academics, and active investors from around the globe will share insights on the state of industry and the state of AI, on gaps between business needs and on technical capabilities. With 1000s of professionals in attendance across 4 stages, we’ll explore opportunities for applying new advances, and on the longer term, societal impacts of decisions made today.
On the third day (April 22nd), we will open our AIs toward "the future" by inviting younger generations to participate and pave the way for the AI of tomorrow.
AI IDOL
Back by popular demand, we will once again be hosting AI Idol, an opportunity for innovative AI startups to pitch. Apply or nominate a peer for the chance to pitch at MIT AI 2018.
AI AWARDS
New for 2018, we will honor innovative and passionate individuals who exemplify MIT’s mission to serve the nation and the world through science and technology with our AI Influencer Award. Know an AI game-changer who is committed to creating meaningful change in today’s world? Nominate them or yourself for consideration.
2018 SPEAKERS
We gather the world’s leading and most influential speakers from multiple disciplines. Our goal is to discuss the impact of AI in our society, and inspire your organization to build real-world AI solutions.
PRICING:
- MIT ALUM pricing is restricted to MIT Alums who are members of the MIT Club of Northern California. If you do not qualify for this category, your tickets will be canceled. You will not be eligible for past discounts and prevalent pricing would apply.
REFUND POLICY:
- MIT AI 2018 will allow refunds until December 31, 2017. If we do not have a written request by this date, tickets will not be refunded. If you realize you are unable to attend after this date, we suggest you find a substitute to utilize your ticket.
- MIT AI 2018 honors one discount code per ticket. We apologize that we are unable to (re)apply additional discount codes to previously purchased tickets.
TICKET TRANSFERS:
- Tickets can only be transferred to another ticket holder until 14 days prior to the event.

MITCNC is the regional alumni club of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Northern California. The club is run entirely by volunteer MIT alumni. Along with its partners, the club organizes approximately 100 events every year, serving approximately 18,000 alumni in the Northern California area.
MITCNC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to further the well-being of local MIT alumni by connecting them with each other and by fostering a continuing relationship with MIT.
Supporting professional development & life-long learning
A large portion of MITCNC’s annual budget goes towards sponsoring needs-based students from the Bay Area to attend MIT. To date, the club has helped over 200 students with financial assistance through our scholarship fund. By participating in this event you will help make a difference in the club's ability to advance its mission.
