About this event

  • 1 hour

Hear from the candidates vying to represent you on the Board of Supervisors!

Independent nonprofit newsroom Mission Local invites District 7 residents to a candidate forum with Myrna Melgar, Stephen Martin-Pinto and Matthew Boschetto.

Mission Local reporter Kelly Waldron, who has been covering the District 7 race, will moderate.

Free and open to the public, but please reserve a ticket as space is limited.

Mission Local is covering this year's elections for all six races for seats on the Board of Supervisors. As part of our reporting, we ask each candidate a weekly question and publish their responses in our series "Meet the Candidates." Find the District 7 responses here, and check out our other elections coverage and events here.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need to get a ticket if this is a free event?

Reserving a ticket helps us plan adequately for the number of people interested in attending and know when we have reached capacity.

Will attendees get a chance to ask the candidates their own questions?

Yes, in written form. We will provide note cards for attendees to write down their questions, and we ask that you keep them succinct so the moderator is able to interpret them without interrupting the conversation.

Can I access the conversation if I can't go in person or there are no more seats?

Yes. We will record these forums and post the video on Youtube.
