Mission: Get Coding 1 (Minimum 4th Grade)

Mission: Get Coding 1 will teach youth the value and basic concepts of coding by leveraging Scratch. This 7 hour program will not only equip youth with the basic knowledge required to code but, by leveraging Scratch, enable them to continue using their coding skills at home.

More importantly, attendees learn life skills such as the ability to work collaboratively as a team on projects as well as give and receive constructive criticism through red/yellow/green reviews of each project they create.

Mission participants will be able to grow their skills through additional Gateway programs such as Mission: Get Coding 2, Mission: Drones, and more!

*Students will need to bring their own lunch for the day.
