Missing Maps Reading November Mapathon

Aperçu

The Missing Maps project aims to map the world's most vulnerable communities: areas that are affected by natural disasters, poverty, epidemics, and other crises. Through remote mapping and feedback with local volunteers, we aim to put 200 million people "on the map" by 2021.

We will help you get started in mapping, but you will need to bring your own laptop, and a mouse is essential. The software is compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows.

There will be free coffee (thanks Work.Life) but we are asking you to contribute nibbles to the communal pot luck. So bring along something to share. There will be full instructions. There will be addictive and fun map making. It's free, you just need to book a ticket on Eventbrite.

We would like to thank our sponsors: Work.Life
