The HOT summit team is organizing a mapathon. MSF Belgium (Doctors without Borders) and Handicap International are hosting! 
All the participants to the HOT Summit are invited to join. And so are the international people in town for State of the Map Brussels. The <A HREF="http://summit.hotosm.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HOT Summit</A> is the yearly conference of people involved in the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). <A HREF="http://2016.stateofthemap.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">State of the Map</A> is the yearly conference of the global OpenStreetMap community. 
And of course, we want you there too!
Come map with us, with many experienced mappers and with the people who will be using your work in the field!
We will focus on validation, networking and newbie training.
 
What is it?
The aim of the Missing Maps Project is to map the most crisis-prone parts of the developing world. With your help we can directly improve the lives of some of the planet’s most vulnerable people.
 What do I need?
Just a laptop (you must bring your own with you, we've run out of extra laptops), a mouse and enthusiasm (mouse isn't absolutely necessary but makes the mapping A LOT faster).  
We will provide food and drinks, so you can come straight after work. 
Where is it? At the main <A HREF="http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3395003157" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MSF/Handicap International Office in Brussels</A>, within walking distance from Brussels-Central or a subway ride away from Brussels-Midi.

L'equipe du <A HREF="http://summit.hotosm.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HOT Summit</A> organise le prochain Missing Maps Mapathon. MSF Belgique et Handicap International l'accueillent. Venez créer de nouvelles cartes avec nous, directement avec ceux qui vont les utiliser sur le terrain. 
Tous les participants du HOT Summit sont invités, mais aussi les particpants du <A HREF="http://2016.stateofthemap.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">State of the Map</A>. Et vous aussi ! Le HOT Summit est la conférence annuelle des personnes interesées à Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). State of the Map est la conférence de la communauté internationale de OpenStreetMap. Les deux conférences arrivent à Bruxelles cette année !
Nous aurons une attention toute particulière à la validation des données, aux rencontres entre mappers et à la formation des nouveaux mappers.
 Créer de nouvelles Cartes ?  L’objectif du projet Missing Maps est de créer des cartes pour les zones de crise des pays en voie de développement qui en ont le plus besoin. Avec votre aide nous pouvons directement améliorer la vie des populations les plus vulnérables de la planète.  De quoi ai-je besoin ?  Seulement de mon Laptop (nous n’en avons malheureusement pas à prêter), une souris et mon enthousiasme (la souris n’est pas obligatoire, mais c’est clairement BEAUCOUP plus facile). 
Nous organisons quelque chose pour manger et boire.
 Où nous retrouvons-nous ?  Dans les bureaux de <A HREF="http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3395003157" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MSF Belgique / Handicap International à Bruxelles</A>, accessibles à pied depuis la gare de Bruxelles-central.  Horaire  18:00 : Accueil 18:30 : Brève formation 19:00 : Début de la séance de cartographie.  Animée de pauses pour la présentation de OpenStreetMap (la plateforme utilisée) et de la manière MSF et Handicap International utilisent les cartes crées.  21:00 : Fin du Missing Maps Mapathon

Het team van de HOT Summit organiseert de volgende Missing Maps Mapathon. Artsen Zonder Grenzen (AZG) en Handicap International (HI) verwelkomen ons in hun gebouw in Brussel. 
We nodigen al de deelnemers van de HOT Summit uit, en ook de mappers die in Brussel zijn voor State of the Map. De <A HREF="http://summit.hotosm.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HOT Summit</A> is de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst van de mensen die bezig zijn met het Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). <A HREF="http://2016.stateofthemap.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">State of the Map</A> is de jaarlijkse conferentie van de wereldwijde gemeenschap die aan OpenStreetMap werkt. 
Kom en maak nieuwe kaarten met ons, samen met zij die de kaarten zullen gebruiken op het terrein! 
De focus van de avond zal liggen op validatie, trainen van nieuwe mappers en networking.
 
Nieuwe kaarten maken?  Het doel van het project is de meest crisisgevoelige gebieden van de wereld in kaart te brengen op OpenStreetMap. Met uw hulp, kunnen hulporganisaties onmiddenlijk het leven van de meest kwetsbaren op aarde verbeteren.
Wat heb je nodig?  Enkel een Laptop (helaas kunnen we geen computers voorzien), een computermuis en je enthousiasme! (Een muis is niet verplicht, maar maakt het mappen HEEL VEEL gemakkelijker.)
