Miss Eula Lawrence Quartet

Jamme K. Chantler is the proprietor of The Mad Monkfish and long-time lover of vocal and instrumental jazz. His aim is to bring the best jazz talent possible to his venue The Jazz Baroness Room with minimal cost to diners. In addition, he and his music director, Scott Goulding–one third of the Yoko Miwa Trio–are dedicated to musical education and work in conjunction with The Cambridge Jazz Festival and Harvard's Kuumba Singers' director Sheldon Reid to achieve that end.

For those who can&#x27;t make it to the Jazz Baroness Room, Monkfish now streams live all of its performances on their <a href="https://www.facebook.com/themadmonkfish/videos/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Facebook page</a>. There is a $10 cover charge for seats in the Jazz Baroness Room.Eula Lawrence, vocals Tim Ray, piano John Pierce, acoustic bass Les Harris Jr., drumsEula Lawrence was called one of Boston’s finest vocalists by Eric Jackson, Boston’s Dean of Jazz and WGBH Radio host. Eula has been a featured artist at both the Boston Globe Jazz Festival and the Toulon Jazz Festival in Toulon, France. In addition to opening for such stars as Eartha Kitt, Linda Hopkins, Jim Bailey, Vic Damone, Jimmy James and Della Reese, Lawrence has performed with many of the top names in jazz including George Benson, McCoy Tyner, Donald Byrd, Bobby Timmons, B.B. King, Johnny “Hammond” Smith, Roy Haynes and Antonio Hart.
