Minuteman

Minuteman is an original production of the MadVa Performing Arts organization that celebrates America's 250th anniversary. It is set during the Revolutionary War in the mountains of Madison County, Virginia. The characters include members from two fictitious mountain families and several real historical figures from the time period. The play follows the mountain families and their struggles and triumphs during the Revolutionary War. The play will be performed in the actual area that the families would have lived in the 1700's at the Blue Ridge Center for Music and the Creative Arts Barn at Stoney Brook location. There are two performances on September 12 - 3;00 PM and 7;00 PM. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site provided by Ducard Vineyards.
