Join us to distribute hundreds of trees to residents in Minneapolis who ordered a tree through this tree sale. You will use your creative thinking skills to fit six-foot trees into vehicles! This distribution event is great for families, friends, and groups and does require some lifting. We will send you an email reminder one week before the event.Requirements: <ul><li>Register – All volunteers must register for the event through Eventbrite.</li><li>Provided – Tree Trust provides gloves and snacks. </li><li>Bring - Water for drinking.</li><li>Wear – Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes. </li><li>COVID Precaution - Unvaccinated volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear a mask during this event.</li></ul>What to expect on site: <ul><li>Check in at the white Tree Trust tent to get a name tag, gloves, and information on where you'll be stationed. </li><li>You will help residents load pre-purchased trees and bags of mulch into their vehicles. </li><li>Trees are heavy, so we ask you remember to lift with your legs, not with your back! </li></ul>If you have any questions, contact us at volunteer@treetrust.org.
