Welcome to the Minerva Sportsman’s Club 6th Annual Kids Fishing Derby!
MAY 12th-MAY 16th club member sign ups ONLY- sign ups open to the public on MAY 17th
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING:
*The Minerva Sportsmans club 6th annual kids fishing derby will be held at the club located at 9247 Arrow Rd. NW Minerva, Ohio 44657 on Saturday June 15th ,2024
*Gates will open at 8:00 am and fishing will begin at 9:00am.
*Please DO NOT arrive before 8:00.
Participation is open to all kids ages 2-15.
*The cost is $10.00/child (plus event brites fee)TWO adults will receive free admission
automatically with the purchase of a childs ticket. Each child ticket will include admission to the event, lunch vouchers for child and 2 adults, bait and a brand new fishing pole for each child to keep.(additional adult meal tickets can be purchased for $5 at the door. EXACT CHANGE ONLY PLEASE)
Your child does not have to use the pole given to them on the
day of event for the event.
Space is limited to 50 participants.
* PRE-Registration is REQUIRED for this event, the purchase of a childs ticket will officially register that child (children).
**The ticket will be under the name of the adult that purchased it when you arrive to check in**
When you arrive please park up top near the club house and proceed to the sign in table to check in.
**Prizes/ trophies will be awarded in multiple categories during lunch
Helpful tips:
*Wear shoes with good tread on them, we will be down by the water and it can get slippery so sandals are not recommended.
Items to bring that day:
*Bucket (to carry your childs fish to the judging station in)
*bug spray/sunscreen
*camp chairs
*snacks/drinks ( lunch is not served until 11:15)
