About the class: Grieving is essential to the vitality of our soul. Grieving reveals our undeniable connection to each other and the greater world. It is our gift and responsibility to grieve so that we may heal ourselves and our world. By exploring our grief process with a lens of mindfulness, we can support ourselves and each other in this deep work. This course on Mindful Grieving will offer you a well-balanced concoction of ancient spiritual wisdom, a historical and cultural exploration of grief and mindfulness, and guidance for grieving mindfully today. What to bring: A notebook if you’d like to take notes, and a writing utensil.About your instructor: Alyssa Rose is a Death Doula and Grief Guide. She offers somatic, spiritual, and soul-based healing for conscious aging, dying, and grieving. Her nature-based and ritual-oriented medicine offers deep peace and guidance for dying and grieving people. Through massage and energy work, she tends to the spiritual and somatic pain often present at the end of life and through loss. She is a lifelong apprentice to Grief, honoring and guiding the soul work that is necessary for our renewal and our re-emergence.
