Mindful Art Workshop

Southborough Youth and Family Services is a human and social service resource for the community. The department employs licensed mental health professionals who can provide free short-term counselling services, clinical consultation, and referral support for Southborough residents. They coordinate prevention programs on matters such as substance abuse prevention, stress management, Mental Health First Aid, and family support. Need-based services such as Holiday Giving, camp scholarships, emergency funds, and fuel assistance programs are also available. <P><SPAN> A free 16 week mentored art program for Southborough youth age 13-18 with Art Therapist, Kim Welch. Students will enjoy art exploration learning different techniques and mediums while encorporating mindfulness practices. Students may display their finished projects in the community art show in May.</SPAN></P>
