Mass Innovation Nights

Mass Innovation Nights is again partnering with the UMass Lowell Research Institute SBIR Center and Northstar Campus to showcase the top finalists. Who will get $20K in the award competition? Join us and find out! We are excited to share a late entry to our Keynote address on Thursday: Dr. Jagadeesh Pamulapati, the Deputy Director for Research, Technology and Laboratories in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering at the Pentagon. Dr. Pamulapati is responsible for all matters associated with the DoD R&amp;D enterprise. He will join Rich Julien, of AWS Public Sector Ventures and Startups with 35 years of high-level DOD/Intelligence experience (he could tell you about it, but would have to kill you) before switching to the investment side at Amazon. This fireside chat will not be adversarial (we were just kidding). Rather, they will be invited to answer three rapid-fire questions:1. In what emerging tech areas you see DOD making bets and investments?2. How does a SBIR company working with the DOD get to Phase III?3. How should firms prepare for success (i.e. deployment)?After this amazing keynote we will hear six 2-min pitches from our semifinalists: Advanced Silicon Group, Analog Photonics, Bionet Sonar, 14Bis Supply Tracking, Gencores, and Target Arm. Then, after a fun networking break, in which you can meet Rich Julien, the 6 semifinalists, and others at the event, we will announce the three WINNERS who each get a $20k grant! Sign up now!
