This presentation will look at the clinical presentations of individuals diagnosed with eating disorders who would benefit from TMS and how TMS effectiveness increases when administered concurrently with medication and psychotherapy

The Medical Complications of Eating Disorders
Presented by Magherita Mascolo MD, CEDS-s

The session will highlight the physiologic changes that occur as a result of an eating disorder recognition, distinguishing between reversible and irreversible complications. This session will highlight the recognition and proper medical treatment of these complications in order to minimize patient suffering, and provide helpful tools to help practitioners advocate for patients to the physicians and insurance providers.

The Athlete’s Struggle: Inside the Mind of a Teen With an Eating Disorder
Presented by Marisa Roth
In this program, a student's story will act as a guide providing a realistic lens to current research about teen ating disorders. The relationship between eating disorders in teens and school athletics will be emphasized. Solutions based on research and lived experience will be proposed.
