About this event

Join us for Family Day!

Sunday, June 23 | 12:30pm-4:00pm ET

Join us at the Intrepid Museum to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride at our Inclusive Pride Family Day: Express Yourself! Learn about the history of struggle and accomplishments of LGBTQ+ communities in the Navy and explore opportunities for self-expression on board. Families of all ages and identities are invited to participate in hands-on art and storytelling activities all about expressing themselves. The afternoon will also include a read-aloud and a family-friendly presentation. Entry to the Museum is FREE with event pre-registration.

A quiet room will be available to families who need to take a break. A social narrative, visual vocabulary, and visual schedule will be sent to every family before the event.

Current and former service members and their families who pre-register are invited to a special Military Family Luncheon. A light lunch will be available from 12:30 to 1:30pm.

If you are not a current or former service member or family member, you are still welcome to enjoy Intrepid Museum Family Day at no cost! Learn more and sign up here.
