Exploring the themes of migration and the quest for belonging, artist Mirela Kulović will share insights from her artistic journey in an informal "fireside" chat format. This conversation with attendees will highlight her collaborative projects with communities in the Balkans and the USA, showcasing a decade of impactful work that bridges cultures and narratives. Discussion will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for attendees to ask questions, reflect on their own journey, and be inspired to carry forward the creative journey.
Mirela Kulović, originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and raised in Croatia, is now based in the US. She holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and has studied art through fieldwork and by attending selected art studio classes. Her drawings and paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions and are included in several international collections. Mirela works globally as an independent artistic and creative director.
