About this event
Welcome to the MiGirl MOM WALK (with heart)!
This event is a walk for women with lots of LAUGHTER in honor of those we love! The mood is upbeat and loving - we will remember the best of those we miss!
This event takes place on the trails of Timber Ridge Resort in Traverse City. There will be a 1 mile trail hike. Along the way, you'll find fun booths and people to celebrate with. There will be complimentary wine tastings, food and swag.
Please bring someone you love with you and plan to toast to the memory of someone you miss. The tone of this event is not sad - but rather loving, playful and joyful! We will gather at the banquet hall for registration and for an opening ceremony. I will read the "Pieces of our Heart" List aloud to the group - when you register, please list the person's name you would like to have me read!
Wine Tastings & Fuzzy Navels: There will be wine tastings along the route. Plus, my mom loved fuzzy navels. So will you. We will also have wine from Bonobo Winery and more!
Signs: Write what you love (or remember) most about your loved one and post it on the board to share.
Move Your Booty for Judy: An ode to my mom, Judy! There will be music — Elvis & The Beach Boys, of course. Executive Sounds will DJ and, I'm afraid, making corny jokes, per the usual.
The Grub: A Papano's Pizza from Kingsley and Jimmy John's subs! The finish line will have Moomer's!
MiGirl Merch: Don’t forget to order your MiGirl tee to pick up at the event.
A portion of proceeds goes to the Smith Family Breast Health Center.

We prefer this to be a ladies day out. We do have a couple dudes handing out pizza and booze. You're welcome.
Dogs on leash with zero attitude are welcome, haha!
We will also have bottled water on offer.
We prefer this to be 21+ as we are serving wine.
We will walk rain or wine. If there are thunderstorms, we will move our wine stations into the banquet hall at Timber Ridge. That means instead of a hike, we will have a roundabout indoor party instead. Either way, it's a win.
