The Amon Carter Museum of American Art was established through the generosity of Amon G. Carter Sr. (1879–1955) to house his collection of paintings and sculpture by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell; to collect, preserve, and exhibit the finest examples of American art; and to serve an educational role through exhibitions, publications, and programs devoted to the study of American art.Now in its sixth decade of operation, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art offers a diverse array of exhibitions, publications, and programs that connect visitors to masterworks of American art.

Enjoy tasty food, signature cocktails, live music, and good friends as we unite in summer style. Inspired by the 250th birthday of our great nation and the Carter’s upcoming exhibition <a href="https://www.cartermuseum.org/exhibitions/statue-liberty-bartholdi-warhol" title="https://www.cartermuseum.org/exhibitions/statue-liberty-bartholdi-warhol" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Statue of Liberty from Bartholdi to Warhol,</a> you won’t want to miss a spectacular time! Patriotic costumes are encouraged but not required. Prizes will be presented to the costume contest winners voted America’s sweethearts! Midsummer Mingle is free for Carter Society level members and above*! Tickets include food, drinks, and entertainment. Members at the Carter Society level and above may reserve two FREE tickets per membership. $25 per ticket for members at the Associate and Friend membership level, as well as both active-duty and retired military personnel. Ticket applies only to the individual service member. Please present a valid military ID when you check in at the event.Not sure if you are a Carter Society member?
