Immerse yourself in an evening of sensory delights and musical enchantment at the World Premiere of Midnight Monologues, a provocative improvisational work from pianist and composer Yoojung Kim (The American Record Guide Critics' Choice Award, 2023), moving image artist Matthew David Wachsman (Emmy Award, 2016) and NYC indie perfume house Strangelove, creator of genuine oudh-based eaux de parfum and pure perfume oils. The performance space is optimized for sound, canvas and scents.

Praised for her poetic and dramatic interpretation, New York-based pianist Yoojung Kim is a versatile pianist, improviser, composer, music director, educator, chamber musician, and collaborator.
Yoojung Kim has performed with renowned orchestras, including the Prague Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Wiener Mozart Orchestra, and Korean Symphony Orchestra. She has also appeared on prestigious stages such as Wigmore Hall (London), Konzerthaus (Vienna), Smetana Hall (Prague), Seoul Arts Center (Seoul), Merkin Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, and Steinway Hall (New York/Seoul).
Yoojung Kim has garnered critical acclaim for her recent recording release of Scriabin's piano works on the Bridge Records label and received the American Record Guide Critics' Choice Award, 2023.
A passionate chamber musician and collaborator, she has performed with members of the New York Philharmonic, and collaborated with distinguished artists such as Yehudi Menuhin, Albert Markov, Tania León, Mignon Dunn, among many others. She is actively involved as a musical director and entrepreneur, directing annual summer concert series at the Raum Arts Center (Seoul), and organizing piano showcases at The Oculus in collaboration with Make Music New York Winter Festival, Steinway & Sons, and Music Traveler. She is the founder and artistic director of MusicY Creative, a creative performance and educational platform. She is in demand as an educator, recently presenting masterclasses and lecture-recitals at Steinway Hall, Sangmyung University (Korea), and Villa Sandra Academy (Italy).
Yoojung Kim, a Steinway Artist, is currently a member of the Artist Faculty in Piano Studies at NYU Steinhardt.
