Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic Mod retreat! We're hosting an exciting 4 days of quilting and sewing for modern quilters.

What's included in the ticket price?
The ticket includes 24 hr access to the sewing room during the retreat and participation in all activies other than workshops (those are paid separately to the instructor).  It does not include meals, but coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided for breakfast. It does not include your hotel which must be booked through our room block.
Do MQG members get a discount?
Only members of the 5 sponsoring guilds (Central Jersey, Philadelphia, North Jersey, DC and Baltimore) will receive a discount.  Your MQG officers can provide you with the discount code. 
The retreat is already full!  Do you have a wait list?
Yes, please register for the wait list and you will be contacted should a spot open up.
How do I book my hotel room?
After your registration is complete you will get a confirmation email with details of how to book your hotel room.  You will be required to submit your reservation number or the name of your roommate to us. You must book through the hotel in our room block and NOT through a third party like Expedia etc.
What happens if I don't book a hotel room?
Unless you purchase one of the limited local passes ($50 supplemental fee IN ADDITION to the regular ticket), you will forfeit your retreat ticket.  And we may not be able to refund your ticket if we aren't able to fill your spot.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, but there is a fee of $45 to transfer a registration.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you may change your contact information at a later date.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, no ticket required.  You will be given a pdf ticket you can print and bring if you'd like, but it's not required.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are only made (less a $45 fee) if we are able to find a replacement for you spot.  You may not transfer your registration yourself to someone else.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, if you need to tranfer to another person, you must allow us to do so and incur the $45 fee.
I'm not sure about workshops.  Can I sign up now and decide I don't want to take it later?
No.  By signing up you are commiting to taking the workshop.  You will be required to pay the $15 fee in cash when you sign in to the retreat.  Failure to do so will cause you to lose your spot at MOD.  The reason for this is that the teachers must prepare materials etc. for class and need to know the number of students in advance.
I didn't sign up for any workshops but I might be interested when I get there.  Is it possible to sign up during the course of the weekend?
Yes, but only if there is space.  Only a limited number of students can fit in the classroom.  Many of the classes were full last year and you'll only be able to sign up for those with open spots.
How many workshops can I take? Is the schedule I signed up for guarunteed?
We did not put a limit on the number of workshops you can sign up for.  There are a limited number of spots in each class and they are first-come, first-served.  PLEASE NOTE: two time slots have 2 workshops running at the same time.  We don't have a way to ensure you don't double book your time, so please check the schedule and only sign up for one at a time.  Classes may be cancelled due to lack of interest, so, no, you schedule isn't guarunteed.
