Microsoft Copilot Training – Hands‑On Workshop
Jump in to explore how Microsoft Copilot can boost your productivity in this hands-on, in-person session!
Introduction to Microsoft Copilot
A practical, hands-on workshop for everyday Microsoft 365 users
If you use Outlook, Word or Teams and keep hearing about AI, this workshop is for you.
Our Introduction to Microsoft Copilot training is a full-day, in‑person workshop designed to help you start using Microsoft Copilot properly, not just “have a go” and hope for the best. You’ll learn how Copilot really works inside Microsoft 365 and, more importantly, how to apply it to the work you actually do.
This is not theory, hype, or abstract demos. Everything you learn is practical, grounded, and immediately usable when you get back to your desk.
What you’ll learn
By the end of the day, you’ll know how to:
- Write prompts that consistently get useful results using the GCSE Framework
- Use Copilot across Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Cowork
- Understand how context affects Copilot’s output and how to control it
- Apply Copilot to real tasks like emails, reports, meeting summaries and data
- Explore pre‑built Copilot agents and understand where they add real value
- Build good Copilot habits so you get better results over time
You’ll spend as much time doing as learning, with guided exercises throughout the day in your own Microsoft 365 environment.
Who this workshop is for
This training is designed for everyday Microsoft 365 users, not technical specialists.
It’s a great fit if:
- You use Microsoft 365 daily but haven’t started using Copilot yet
- You’ve tried Copilot once or twice but weren’t sure if you were doing it right
- You manage people and want to understand what AI actually means for your team
- You want practical skills, not generic AI advice
No technical background or coding knowledge is required.
How the day works
We alternate between short learning sessions and hands‑on practice, so every idea gets applied straight away.
- Clear explanations, no jargon
- Real workplace examples
- Time to practise your own tasks with support from the trainers
You’ll leave with experience, confidence, and examples you can reuse.
Lunch and refreshments included
What you’ll need to bring
- A laptop with Microsoft 365 installed
- Your laptop charger
- An active Microsoft Copilot licence
- A willingness to try things and ask questions
