Description

Special Event: Michigan Ross Professor Andy Hoffman Discusses Business, Culture, and Climate Change in San Francisco

Location: Jillian's, 175 Fourth Street, San Francisco

Date: Tuesday, April 4th, 2017

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm (see below for full agenda)

Professor Andy Hoffman, Holcim (US) Professor for Sustainable Enterprise at Michigan-Ross, will be visiting San Francisco on Tuesday, April 4th. Join us for an intimate discussion as Prof. Hoffman speaks about how culture and entrenched worldviews are shaping the global debate over Climate Change instead of scientific discussions focused on carbon dioxide, greenhouse gasses, and climate modeling. Taking examples from business, psychology, history, and political science, Professor Hoffman will address the opposing cultural views through which science is interpreted, and then will highlight lessons that can be learned from these examples so that audience members can take action. A very topical subject, and one that you definitely won't want to miss!

**ERB alumni are especially encouraged to attend!**

Event cost: $5; $10 after March 30

6:30-7:15pm: Guests arrive and mingle
