Come join us for this very special occasion as we welcome best-selling author Michael Ruhlman to the store for an informal chat and signing. Ruhlman’s first book of fiction has been published and we’ll be celebrating with him. In Short Measures is a collection of three novellas that address love in middle age, the power and influence of young love, nostalgia (literally “return pain”), emotional and sexual infidelity, and marriages under stress.
 
Ruhlman is best known for his books on culinary topics such as:  The Soul of a Chef, Charcuterie, The Book of Schmaltz, Ruhlman’s Twenty and Egg: A Culinary Exploration of the World’s Most Versatile Ingredient and more. And, yes, a selection of those books will be on hand for purchase and signing.
 
This is your chance to meet one of publishing’s really big stars. RSVP’s not necessary, but would be appreciated (through EventBrite) because we plan to offer nibbles and drinks to make it a real party.
