MICE 2023 Preview Mixer
Join us for a MICE 2023 kick-off, with light refreshments, chats about process, and a chance to meet up before the big weekend.
Let's meet up at Hub Comics for an evening celebrating comics! We will be announcing this year's MICE Mini-Grant winners and having a few of the incredible recipients chat about their work. There will be drawing, light refreshments, and plenty of fun to be had!
PLEASE NOTE: Somerville has moved Union Square's annual Fluff Festival to its rain date of Sep 24, which overlaps with our mixer. Parking will be limited and portions of Somerville Ave and other streets will be closed to traffic.
The following traffic and parking changes are planned to support the event. There will likely be significant traffic delays around Union Square. Drivers are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
- Somerville Ave. (School St to Warren Ave) in Union Square.
- Closed to all vehicular traffic 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.
- Parking restrictions will be in place 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Please observe posted signage.
Quincy St., Church St., and Bow St will allow two-way traffic between Summer St. and Somerville Ave. 12pm to 9pm to allow access for residents.
Hawkins St. will allow two-way traffic between Lake St. to Washington Ave. to allow access for residents.
MBTA buses will be rerouted during the event. For more information, visit MBTA.com/bus.
