The Miami Media and Film Market (MMFM) is proud to present MMFM 14, July 14th-17th, 2024 at The Biltmore Hotel's Conference Center of the Americas.
This year's MMFM conference features a new format. It is 3 days of networking, pre-selected one-to-one pitch meetings, and high-level panel discussions. Major Industry representatives from Los Angeles, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Miami-Dade County will be in attendance.
For the private pitch opportunities here are some of the category highlights:
UK: "UPstream Track" - Projects based on some type of intellectual property (IP) which are in early development. Please have available for submission a logline for your idea, a treatment/bible, script or similar. These projects can be for feature films, television (drama or comedy), animation, and gaming formats.
UK: "Production Finance Market (PFM) Track: This track is only for independent feature films in later stage development / pre-production which are looking for financing to move forward. Ideally these projects will already have "some level of financing" in place and have an "attractive package" in place.
Spain: Co-productions with Miami-Dade County IP and should have 50% financing in place.
Miami Dade Only Projects - These should be Miami-Dade County IPs, for meeting with MMFM's L.A. delegates for further development and consideration. Should have a brief treatment available at a minimum.

All project submissions need to provide a benefit to Miami-Dade County, whether they benefit local creatives / producers / filmmakers etc, or some part of the story "setting" takes place in Miami-Dade.
