The MEV-Workshop Data Exploration will focus on the Ethereum data in the post-merge world and the methods to discover interesting facts and trends in MEV involving new parties such as block builder, proposer and validator. It will cover data analysis, models and open questions arising from the MEV models post-merge. The workshop aims to help researchers and data analysts understand the data from MEV-Boost relay and provide transparency on our products and the MEV ecosystem, and also to provide contributors and collaborators the data they need for research.

Agenda:

- Introduce the Flashbots Data Team, and how to get involved.

- Provide attendees with a dataset from the first month of operation of the Flashbots mev-boost relay.

- Share relevant open questions which can be informed with data analysis and models.

- Assist the attendees while they develop their analysis and models.

The detailed items that will be covered and for participants to attempt during the workshop are:

(1) walk through the post-merge data we collected and how it is used in the transparency dashboard.

(2) provide this data to the participants for them to answer the open questions in this article.

(3) mini challenge for participants to answer the question of whether profit per block is higher when consecutive blocks are from the same builder or proposer.
