Join Romantic Urbanism and Nishra Ranpura in a weaving workshop that transforms subway memories into woven tokens using binary code and Metrocards. Bring your own MTA cards, scrap fabric strips, yarns, or found trinkets that can be incorporated as we weave memories of our favorite subway stations and bid farewell to one of the most iconic pieces of transit history. No weaving experience is necessary!The event location has changed due to rain forecast and will now be held at Center for Urban Pedagogy at 323 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY. If you are unable to make it, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist!
