Discover the historic treasures of Nubian Square through the eyes of Boston's young scholars.

Join students from METCO's suburban high schools on a walking tour highlighting stories of Black artistry, activism, and achievement you might not have learned before. The FREE tour starts at METCO's brand new headquarters with an in-depth exhibit on the history of educational activism in Boston. Following the exhibit, you will get a chance to explore the historical Nubian Square and all of its impactful, historical, sites representing a hidden chapter of black history that culminated in this area!

We expect the following:

- Please dress comfortably (sneakers, athletic or flexible clothing, warm clothing if cold, etc).

- Please bring a bottle of water with you to remain hydrated on this tour.

- Please plan on using the bathroom before or after the tour. METCO HQ has multiple bathrooms available to use during the gallery tour.

- If you need to deviate from the tour route at any point, please try to catch up as we cannot stop in respect to people’s time schedules.
