This beginner-friendly, hands-on class will introduce you to the world of Virtual Reality(VR) and the Metaverse in a simple, fun, and interactive way-no experience needed.

Whether you're interested in social connections, technology, gaming, or just trying something new, this session will give you a real taste of what VR can do.

What You'll Learn:

  • What the "Metaverse" actually is (in plain language)
  • How people use VR for social connections, entertainment, and more
  • How to safely and confidently use a VR headset

What You'll Experience:

  • Hands-on VR practice using beginner-friendly apps
  • Interactive environments where you can explore and engage
  • A live demonstration of social VR platforms

Class Format (1.5 Hours):

  • Introduction & Overview
  • Guided Hands-On VR Training

  • Beginners (no VR experience needed)

Important Notes:

  • VR headsets will be provided or you may bring your own (Meta Quest)
  • Space is limited to ensure a quality experience
  • Please arrive on time for setup

Prone to motion sickness or dizziness
