Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece score as Metamorphosis Dance presents Swan Lake May 17-18th at the Alma Thomas Fine Arts Center, on the campus of Southwestern University, in Georgetown, TX.

This extraordinary production marks the 10th anniversary of Metamorphosis Dance's presentation of Swan Lake, a milestone celebrated with the revival of Artistic Director Melanie Kregel's vision. This 10th anniversary production features an array of brand-new costumes and sets. Among the highlights are the ethereal swan corps, adorned in all-white tutus and crowned with majestic white feather headpieces, creating a beautiful visual spectacle. The stage will come alive with the grace and precision of Metamorphosis company dancers, joined by dancers from Metamorphosis Dance Academy.

This production has assigned ticket seating areas. The doors to the theatre will open 30 minutes prior to the performance start time for seating. Please note: due to the intimate nature of the theatre, late arrivals may not be able to be seated until intermission.


What is the Refund Policy?
We are so grateful for your support. If life happens and you are not able to attend the performance, please consider the following options prior to requesting a full refund:

  • You can change or exchange tickets at any time prior to the performance day – no questions asked, no exchange fees.
  • Please consider donating your seats to our nonprofit arts and education mission.
  • In the event of a performance cancellation or postponement, opt to receive a credit towards a future performance, donate the value of unused tickets back to Metamorphosis Dance nonprofit mission, or receive a full refund.

If you do request a full refund, you may do so at least 2 days prior to the performance date. No refunds will be granted 48 hours prior to performance date.

Please note:

The Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable, so we won't return them to the ticket buyer when a refund is processed. But there are two exceptions: we will refund the Eventbrite fees to buyers when an event is cancelled or when the buyer was charged multiple times in error and requests a refund within 7 days of purchase.


Metamorphosis Dance is a non-profit, woman-founded and woman-led professional dance company that performs throughout the greater Austin area. The company consists of professional resident artists and pre-professional student artists. The dancers are challenged to be versatile while also honoring their technical ballet foundation. Productions range from classical ballets such as The Nutcracker and Cinderella, to original choreography in modern, jazz, and tap.

Metamorphosis Dance was founded with the vision of seeing dancers grow throughout their careers and innovate in the world of dance. Through masterful instruction, challenging choreography and high-caliber performance experiences, MD is reshaping the world of dance, one dancer at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Where to park?

There are limited parking spots in the lot at Rutersville Road and University Ave. There is additional parking in the lot at Maple St and University Ave. Please contact us if you require ADA assistance or need help with finding a parking spot close to the theater entrance.

Can I bring children?

Absolutely! Our performances are for all ages. We offer tickets at a discounted rate for those 12 years of age and younger.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Printed tickets are preferable, but electronic tickets are also accepted. Please note that your purchase receipt is not the same as your ticket. Please be sure to download your tickets.

What should I expect at the theater?

No food or drink is allowed in the theater. Cell phones must be silenced and no photography or filming is allowed during the performance. Wheelchair accessible seating is available - please contact us in advance to reserve.
