About this event

Messy Monday is a multi-media art program offered 2-3 Mondays per month at RHF. Registered participants receive supplies and hands-on instruction provided by Kidscreate Studio.

Time: 5:30-6:30 PM

The Messy Monday series is most suitable for ages 4 to 12. However, any age able to hold a pencil is welcome to participate. Each week is a unique project for participants to enjoy and take home with them at the end of the session.

The program is offered at 2 different times throughout each month; both at 1 pm and 5:30 pm. There is no specific age range for either time and each time has the same curriculum. Please take note of what time you register for.

This program is free of charge to service members and their families. Registration opens for each session 2 weeks before that session’s start date.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint, glue, glitter, or marker on! You will not need to bring anything to the program, but it is recommended to bring a box, blanket, or tarp for safe and clean transportation of final art pieces back home.

You will be asked for proof of Military Affiliation at check-in for this program. Have your Military ID available. If you have any questions about what qualifies as proof of affiliation, please reach out to the team at Rick’s Place.

Each participant is required to register for this program, with 1 ticket needed per individual. The start and end times are prompt. Showing up late means less detailed instructions on the project. Parents need to stay with their children for the duration of the program.

This project is supported by a Project Support Grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville|Cumberland County, the North Carolina Arts Council, and, in part, by contributions from the City of Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and other community partners.
