Merced Stormwater Capture: Community Workshop
Join us for Workshop #1 of the Merced Stormwater Capture Project! This event will take place at Merced Avenue Linear Park.
About:
The City of El Monte is planning a new walking and biking path along the Rio Hondo Channel—from Merced Avenue to Brockway Street. This project will improve stormwater quality, add native landscaping, and make the area safer and more comfortable for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
Come learn about the project, participate in a raffle, enjoy some food/games, and give us your feedback on the designs. Don't miss this opportunity to get involved and make a difference in our community. See you there!
